The Meade Musings podcast is dedicated to raising awareness about societal issues that are often not discussed openly. Many individuals face challenges that affect their emotional, psychological, mental, and physical health and wellbeing. These issues include infertility/involuntary childlessness, living with disabilities or debilitating illnesses, homelessness, and coping with abusive partners. By recognizing and sharing experiences of real People in abusive relationships and other everyday struggles, we aim to break down societal stigmas and offer support to others who may be facing similar difficulties. .

According to 2025 global statistics, ninety-nine percent of women who experience domestic abuse also face financial abuse. Each year, more than fifty thousand women lose their lives to domestic violence, and many remain in these harmful relationships because leaving would mean losing their home, healthcare, food, and financial independence
