  • How We Lost God’s Image And How Christ Restores It
    Feb 9 2026

What if the phrase “made in God’s image” is more than a comforting slogan—and the reason your soul longs for peace? We walk through Genesis with open Bibles and open questions, tracing how the image was given, how it was fractured by doubt and disobedience, and why a promised Savior changes everything. Starting in the garden, we unpack the serpent’s strategy—sowing distrust of God’s word—and the deep consequence that followed: spiritual separation, exile from the garden, and a world shaped by Adam’s fallen likeness.

From there, we turn to the hope that reframes the story. Colossians calls Jesus “the image of the invisible God,” and that’s our doorway back. We talk about new birth from John 3, the simplicity and certainty of salvation in Romans 10, and the honest tension we live with now: renewed in spirit and soul, still waiting for the redemption of our bodies. Along the way, we offer a practical approach to Scripture—read slowly, notice who God is addressing, and let the text interpret the text—so the Bible becomes a source of clarity instead of confusion.

If you’ve wrestled with assurance, identity, or how to reconcile Genesis with the gospel, this conversation is a steady guide. You’ll hear how the Holy Spirit restores what was lost, and where real peace begins: trusting what God has said.

  • Welcome to WHOSOEVER
    Jan 9 2026

New years make us crave novelty, but the peace we’re all after often comes from a time-tested way of reading the Bible. We open WHOSOEVER with a clear aim: help you study Scripture with confidence by rightly dividing the word of truth. That simple, ancient approach asks who is speaking, who is being addressed, and where a passage sits in God’s timeline—questions that dissolve apparent contradictions and reveal a unified story. Along the way, we unpack why “whosoever” is more than a churchy word and how it signals the open invitation of the gospel to anyone.

Susannah and Vince share how assurance of salvation becomes solid when we stop mixing instructions given to different audiences. When you know salvation rests on Christ’s finished work, you can set down the anxiety of earning and pick up the joy of serving. We also reflect on the wisdom of our late pastor, Dr. Jeff Meyers, whose maxim—all of the bible is written for you, but not all of the bible is written to you—has guided our reading and our lives.

This first step lays the foundation for the journey ahead: a practical, gracious way to study that honors Scripture’s design and frees everyday people to walk in hope. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by verses that seem to clash, or if you’re longing for clarity that leads to action, you’ll find tools and encouragement here. Join us as we build on 2 Timothy 2:15 and learn to read the Bible with a steady hand and a peaceful heart.
