Über diesen Titel

The Tim Baxter Show exists on the assumption that clear thinking carries moral responsibility. Some actions, systems, and ideologies cause real harm, and refusing to name them does not make us neutral or reasonable, it makes us complicit. This show rejects false balance, performative civility, and the comfort of ambiguity when people are being harmed. It approaches politics, culture, and psychology with the understanding that insight without courage is empty, and that ethical clarity requires both evidence and a willingness to take a stand. The goal is not outrage, purity, or applause, but precision, accountability, and the refusal to look away when harm is being justified, normalized, or ignored.

  • Lies, Bullets, and Oil: The State Violence Playbook
    Jan 7 2026

In this episode of The Tim Baxter Show, we strip the bullshit away and look at two stories that are not separate at all, no matter how badly the powerful want them treated that way.

First, we break down the ICE shooting in Minneapolis. A woman is killed. The federal government immediately lies about what happened. Video evidence contradicts the official story, local leaders call it out, and yet the lie is repeated anyway from the highest levels of power. This isn’t confusion or bad communication. It’s the normalization of state violence and the expectation that the public will swallow whatever explanation is offered and move on.

Then we widen the lens to Venezuela, oil, and U.S. foreign policy under Donald Trump. Sanctions, threats, resource extraction, and empire-brained entitlement are dressed up as leadership while real people pay the price. It’s the same logic as ICE at home, just scaled up. Force first. Narrative control second. Accountability never.

We also talk about the dangerous trajectory this mindset puts the world on. When powerful nations start treating sovereignty as optional, no one is safe. By the end of the episode, it’s made clear that Canada and Greenland are not abstract hypotheticals in this conversation. They are reminders that expansionist thinking, economic coercion, and militarized arrogance don’t stop at one border or one target.

This episode ends with a warning and a demand. The world needs to wake the hell up. Americans need to stop mistaking obedience for stability and start pushing back hard against a system that lies, kills, and threatens global catastrophe in the name of power. Not with apathy. Not with excuses. But with sustained, organized, non-violent resistance that refuses to normalize this path any longer.

If you’re tired of being told this is all normal, inevitable, or necessary, this episode is for you.

    THE GREAT AMERICAN BLASPHEMY

Donald Trump and the modern Christian nationalist movement have mastered a sickening trick—wrapping cruelty in the name of Christ. They hold Bibles in photo ops, speak at churches, call America a “nation that worships God,” and posture as defenders of “Christian values.” Yet their actual actions—especially on immigration, violence, and power—are the polar opposite of what Jesus taught in the red letters. This is not just hypocrisy; it is blasphemy in its most public, institutional form. Trump’s words invoke Christ. His policies crucify Him all over again.

This contradiction isn’t philosophical—it’s visible. We watched it in Chicago this week when federal agents fired pepper balls into a peaceful crowd outside an ICE facility and struck a Presbyterian pastor, Rev. David Black, in the head Court filings confirm that clergy, protesters, and journalists were hit with “less-lethal” rounds and tear gas in a surge of enforcement that left faith leaders bleeding This wasn’t an accident. It was the state flexing power over people, embodying the teachings of Jesus by standing with the stranger and the oppressed.

And here is where the red letters explode the lie: Jesus doesn’t just vaguely suggest kindness—He commands specific, radical, non-negotiable actions toward the stranger, the poor, the vulnerable, the imprisoned, and the enemy. These are His words. In red. In direct conflict with Trumpism, ICE enforcement, and the entire right-wing movement that dares to claim His name.

Now we’re going to lay them side by side: Trump and his system vs. Jesus and His words. We will cite the news. We will quote Jesus in full. We will let Scripture judge the movement that claims it.

And when we are done, there will be no question left.

Because Jesus already gave the verdict.
