• Butterflies, Synchronicities, and the Language of Spirit
    Nov 20 2025

    When Spirit Changes Its Language

In this deeply personal and illuminating episode, Chandra explores how spirit speaks when we feel most lost, and how synchronicity, symbolism, and the unexpected weaving of events can become a form of divine conversation.

Through stories of butterflies, a strange art-deco window, a bookstore encounter that defies logic, and the loving echo of a grandfather’s guidance, Chandra shares how connection continues long after physical presence ends. This episode invites you to step into a gentler, more fluid understanding of mediumship, one grounded not in theatrics, but in ethics, reverence, and the subtle language of the soul.

    🔹 In This Episode

    • When the dead don’t appear the way we expect

Chandra opens up about longing for her Poppow to appear in a physical, cinematic way after his passing, and the heartbreak of expecting something extraordinary while missing the miraculous appearing in the ordinary.

    • The language of spirit: symbolism, pattern, feeling

A quiet teaching moment on how spirit conserves its energy, how corporeal manifestations are rare, and why the subtle paths of synchronicity are often the truest forms of communication.

    • Butterflies, Australia, and a window that became a portal

A butterfly that shouldn’t have been there.

A window shaped like a dream.

A symbol appearing again and again until its meaning could no longer be ignored.

    • The automatic writing session & the honesty of being not-okay

Before the butterfly arrived, Chandra shares a moment of true vulnerability, an automatic writing session where she told her team, her deities, her higher self, and the universe:

    “I am lost.”

This episode emphasizes that spiritual bypassing is never the path, honoring our shadows is.

    • The Bookstore Incident, a moment of absolute synchronicity

After searching every shelf for The Haunting of Hill House, a book tied to memory, lineage, and story. Chandra meets two warm, glowing souls. One, who at the door, just happens to have that exact book in her hands.

    A moment that stopped time.

A moment that carried her Poppow’s voice.

    • The guiding influence of Heather and Imogine

Two luminous souls whose work with shamans in Mongolia and their etheric alignment practices brought profound clarity, courage, and initiation into Chandra’s life. Heather and Imogine’s presence is honored for the way they helped her step into her path with boldness and reverence.

    • Jung, synchronicity, and the poetry of the unseen

A reflection on Jung’s “acausal connecting principle,” and how spirit uses patterns to write meaning into our lives without bending the laws of physics.

    • Ethical mediumship: reverence over performance

Chandra explains why mediumship in its highest form isn’t showmanship, but an honoring of archetypal language, psychology, and soul connection.

    Nicholas’ reflections woven throughout

Nicholas brings grounding, reflection, and the perspective of someone witnessing these synchronicities in real time. His voice is integrated in breaks throughout the episode as a reflective companion on this path.

    🔹 Themes & Takeaways

    Spirit whispers; it rarely shouts.

Signs become clearer when we stop demanding spectacle.

    Synchronicity is conversation, not coincidence.

Love is a language older than words.

Jungian Shadow work is sacred, and admitting “I’m lost” is a form of devotion.

Mediumship is psychological, archetypal & energetic, not theatrical.

We are never alone in the dialogue between soul and source.

  • The Frequencies That Haunt Us: Trauma, Energy, and the House That Remembers
    Oct 27 2025

⚠️ Content Notice / Trigger Warning:

This episode discusses themes related to trauma, suicide, grief, and addiction in a reflective and healing context.

Please listen with care and at your own pace. If these topics bring up difficult emotions, you are not alone, and help is available.

In this deeply reflective and energy-rich episode, Chandra and Nicholas open a dialogue between psychology, spirituality, and the unseen.

Using The Haunting of Hill House as a symbolic framework, they explore the parallels between haunting and trauma, frequency and emotion, and healing and remembrance.

Together, they unravel what it means when a space, or a soul, becomes haunted, and how forgiveness, resonance, and acknowledgment can transmute even the darkest vibrations into coherence and peace.

Inspired by Shirley Jackson’s classic novel “The Haunting of Hill House”, and Mike Flanagan’s hauntingly human adaptation, Chandra and Nicholas explore what it truly means to be haunted, by trauma, memory, and energy itself. This is a journey through psychology, mysticism, and the frequencies that shape our healing.

    Listeners will learn:

How trauma echoes like residual energy in the body and in physical spaces. The link between the nervous system, frequency, and emotion. What it means to “retune” energy fields through awareness and reiki. Why forgiveness is not forgetting, but reclaiming energy.

How to hold space for the parts of self that still whisper in the dark. This is not a ghost story. It’s a story of remembering. A reminder that you are both the house and the light that fills it.

“Every tear unshed becomes a whisper in the walls. When we learn to listen, those whispers become wisdom.” — Chandra

In this episode of The Thinning Veil, we explore the story of Dana, a woman who moved into a rental with her young son, Jared, only to find herself face-to-face with spirits, tragedy, and something darker. From child ghosts to a parasitic entity that escalated into oppression and possession, Dana’s experience highlights why cleansings, banishings, and blessings don’t always work, and why they sometimes make things worse.

    Together we examine:

Why some rituals fail across cultures when mixed without discernment.

What it means to be “jumped,” “oppressed,” and the real stages of possession beyond Hollywood myths.

The role of shadow psychology, trauma, and projection in hauntings.

Cross-cultural tools like brick dust, eggshells, tar water, and where they help, or harm.

Why healing, ethics, and integration must be the cornerstone of paranormal intervention.

A full ethical healing plan for Dana’s case and what could have been done differently.

This isn’t about survivor-shaming, it’s about illumination. Healing must always come first, for the living, the dead, and even the land itself.

🔮 Your Brave Soul offers ethical mediumship, spiritual psychology, and paranormal intervention that prioritizes healing above fear.

  • When the Walls Remember: Living with a Poltergeist
    Sep 11 2025

What does it mean when a place itself seems to remember, creaks, laughter, footsteps, and voices that shouldn’t exist? In this episode, I share my three encounters with poltergeist energy in the same home: from mischievous sounds and moving furniture, to emotional and physical strain, to outright violent manifestations.

Along the way, we explore the history of poltergeists, the insights of William Roll, Hans Holzer, Edgar Cayce, and Carl Jung, and the ethical responsibility we hold when engaging with forces that blur the line between psyche and spirit. If you’ve experienced the strange, the unseen, or the unexplainable.

Your Brave Soul is here for you. We want to hear your stories, because your voice matters, and we’re ready to believe you. Find us here on the podcast, on Instagram, and on Facebook. Step into the conversation… the veil is thinner than you think.

  • Echoes of the Unseen: Poltergeists, Psyche, and the Alchemy of Fear
    Sep 9 2025

Step beyond the flickering shadows of Hollywood horror and into the deeper mystery of the poltergeist. Is it the furious unrest of the dead, or the turbulent energy of the living, made manifest? In this episode, we traverse the strange terrain of psychokinetic phenomena, guided by the research of Dr. William Roll, Hans Holzer, and Edgar Cayce, and grounded in the philosophies of Carl Jung and his Red Book revelations. Together, we peel back the veil to ask: are poltergeists spirits, projections of the unconscious, or something far more enigmatic?

This is not just a story of rattling chains and shattered glass. It is a meditation on psyche, energy, archetypes, and the uncanny dance between the seen and the unseen.

At Your Brave Soul, we'reready to believe you. If you are seeking guidance, if you have lived through the strange and the unexplainable, know that your story matters. • Haunted Truths: Between Carnival and Reverence
    Sep 8 2025

What lies between spectacle and stewardship in the paranormal world?

In this immersive episode, I peel back the layers of myth and media, from the Warrens’ controversies at Amityville, Enfield, and the Perron farmhouse, to Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum and the infamous Dybbuk Box, to Ryan Buell’s rise and fall, and Lance Zahl’s carnival-like treatment of haunted sites. Even comedian Matt Rife’s curious role in the Warren home sale enters the conversation.

But this isn’t just about controversy. It’s also about reverence: Amy Allen’s legacy with William Roll, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry’s family-centered approach, Michelle Belanger’s scholarship, Kim Russo’s trauma healing, Chip Coffey’s compassion, Jason Hawes’ grounded methods.

Haunted artifacts, across cultures, tell us stories of grief and memory: Japan’s tsukumogami, Jewish dybbukim, objects as vessels of trauma. We explore how these items become sacred thresholds, or hollow commodities.

Through Jungian reflection, I ask: are we serving the dead, or selling them? Are we healers, or performers?

Step with me into this shadowed mirror, and decide for yourself. If you are drawn to the threshold between worlds, seeking guidance, healing, and ethical spiritual intervention. You can reach out to us at Your Brave Soul here on substack, Instagram, and Facebook. We're ready to believe you!

  • Checking in to see what condition everyone's condition is in
    Sep 8 2025

There’s a reason I don’t walk into sacred spaces with a bravado-laced "show me what you got." I come with reverence, not ratings. I do this work not for spectacle, but for healing, for the spirits trapped in echo loops, for the living carrying invisible bruises, and for the spaces that breathe but cannot speak.

In a world where haunted houses are being bought up like amusement parks and ghost-hunting has become a hashtag, I choose a different path. One rooted in ethics, consent, compassion, and accountability. I'm not here to provoke. I'm here to witness. To tend. To restore.

I may not have a Netflix deal or a parapsychology degree (if such a thing even exists outside a Google search), but I have something more dangerous and more sacred: a calling.

So no, I’m not the funny medium. I’m not the famous one. But I might be the one who listens when no one else does. Who refuses to treat the dead like a thrill ride. Who will always show up with the belief that healing is possible, even across dimensions.

I call myself the Ethical Medium not because it’s a brand, but because it’s a promise.

And to those who feel like nobody is taking their pain seriously, who’ve been called delusional or dramatic or spiritually broken, I’m here and as always ready to believe you. Please reach out to Your Brave Soul on here, Instagram and Facebook.
