• TWOW 57: To Wait On The Lord (When God is Silent)
    Jul 17 2025

In this episode of "The Word On Wednesday," PO delves into the profound spiritual meaning of "waiting on the Lord." Moving beyond the common interpretation of passively waiting for desires to be met, the episode reframes the waiting season as a dynamic and purposeful journey of spiritual formation.

The central theme is that the "vision" we are to hold onto, as mentioned in Habakkuk 2, is not our personal dream or ambition, but the person of Jesus Christ. Christ is presented as the tangible manifestation of God, His accountability to the believer, and the ultimate "good" that God is working towards in every situation (Romans 8:28-29). Therefore, the duration of a believer's waiting season is directly linked to the process of being conformed to the image of Christ. The journey ends not when we get what we want, but when we become the person God requires for that next stage.

This teaching offers deep encouragement, emphasizing that God is not a distant or punishing father. Instead, He is an active partner who comforts, strengthens, and provides courage through the Holy Spirit during these trials (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). The episode dismantles the idea that we suffer alone, reminding listeners that God is invested in their story and is committed to revealing His glory through their lives. The practical way to endure this process is to actively look away from distractions and focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), allowing Him to be our strength and hope.

Feeling forgotten or stuck in your waiting season? This message uncovers the profound truth that your waiting is not a punishment, but a powerful, active process. Discover how God uses this time to shape you for your ultimate breakthrough. It's time to exchange your anxiety for unshakeable hope and courage.

This is for you if you're tired of waiting, losing hope, or wondering if God still sees you.

  • The Word On Wednesday : Episode 27: The Miracles of Jesus Part 1
    Sep 4 2024

This enlightening podcast episode delves deep into the profound symbolism and spiritual significance of Jesus' first miracle at the wedding in Cana. PO meticulously unpacks the rich layers of meaning behind this pivotal event, revealing how it serves as a powerful metaphor for the transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant in Christ. Through careful analysis of Scripture and historical context, listeners will gain a fresh perspective on how this miracle showcases God's love, redemption, and the fulfillment of Messianic prophecies.

    Key Points:

    1. The Significance of "The Third Day":

    - Symbolizes Christ's resurrection and victory over sin

    - Marks the beginning of reconciliation with the Father

    - Represents the dawn of a new era in God's relationship with humanity

    2. The Symbolism of Wine:

    - Represents the New Covenant in Christ's blood

    - Signifies the exhaustion of the Old Covenant and the need for renewal

    - Fulfills Messianic prophecies about God's lavish banquet for His people

    3. Christ as the Divine Bridegroom:

    - Reveals Jesus' identity as the Messiah and the prophesied seed of the woman

    - Establishes the relationship between Christ and the Church as bridegroom and bride

    - Fulfills Old Testament prophecies about God's union with His people

    4. Transformation of Purification Rituals:

    - Contrasts the old system of ceremonial washing with Christ's purifying work

    - Demonstrates how Christ's sacrifice replaces external rituals with internal transformation

    - Emphasizes the sufficiency of Christ's blood for eternal cleansing

    5. The Superiority of the New Covenant:

    - Highlights the permanence and completeness of Christ's work

    - Contrasts the temporary nature of Old Testament rituals with the eternal efficacy of Christ's sacrifice

    - Emphasizes rest and celebration in Christ rather than continuous striving for purification Declarations: I am cleansed and purified by the blood of Jesus, not by external rituals. In Christ, I have entered into the New Covenant of grace and rest. As part of the Bride of Christ, I am washed and prepared by His word. The best wine of God's love and salvation has been poured out for me in Christ. I no longer strive for ceremonial cleanliness but rest in Christ's finished work. God's goodness and love are fully expressed to me through Jesus Christ. I am forever perfected and completely cleansed by Christ's one-time sacrifice. The law of God is written on my heart, producing inward change by the Holy Spirit. I rejoice in the marriage supper of the Lamb, clothed in Christ's righteousness. As an earthen vessel, I carry the precious treasure of the gospel within me. My life is a celebration of God's New Covenant love in Christ. I am fully accepted and forgiven, living in the abundance of God's grace.

  • The Word On Wednesday : Episode 26: The Tithe 2
    Aug 28 2024

In this eye-opening episode, we explore the truth about tithing and giving in light of Christ's finished work. Discover how understanding God's nature of love and grace transforms our approach to giving. Learn why resting in Christ's complete sacrifice frees us from performance-based religion and allows us to experience the fullness of God's blessings. The impression you have of God defines your expression of Him.

    Key Points:

    - We don't have to give to God to receive from Him. God gave all of Himself through Christ on the cross and the Holy Spirit in us; all we have to "do" is believe to receive all of Him.

    - God, in the fullness of His love, freely gave us all things, every spiritual gift in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus

    - Tithing was part of the Old Testament law, which Christ fulfilled completely.

    - The "first fruits" and "dangerous seed" concepts point to Christ, not our money or offerings.

    - God's blessings, including Abraham's blessing, are received through faith in Christ, not through our giving. Abraham’s blessing is not money; it is the promise of the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ.

    - We entered God's presence through Christ's blood, not through tithing or any other work.

    - God's love and faithfulness are not dependent on our giving or performance. The impression you have of God defines your expression of Him. Declarations:

I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus.

Christ is my first fruit, my dangerous seed, and my complete offering to God.

I have confident access to God's presence through the blood of Jesus.

The blessing of Abraham is mine through faith by the promise of the Holy Spirit.

Nothing can separate me from God's love, which is in Christ Jesus.

I rest in the finished work of Christ, free from the burden of law-keeping.

God's faithfulness to me is based on His character, not my performance.

I am complete in Christ, lacking nothing and fully sanctified by His offering.

My giving flows from a heart of love and gratitude, not obligation or fear.

I decree the manifestation of my portion in all things in Christ Jesus.

  • The Word On Wednesday : Episode 25: The Stretch
    Aug 21 2024

The Stretch: Moving from Stories to God's Nature

In this powerful episode, we explore how to move beyond mere stories and ideas about God to fully and truly understand, embody, and embrace His divine nature. Learn why simply knowing facts about God is insufficient, and how to transition into a deeper, transformative relationship with Him. Learn how to transition from a contractual relationship with God to one of intimate fellowship as His sons. Discover the true meaning of faith, grace, and the Gospel as we unpack what it means to live from God's nature rather than human effort. Discover the transformative power of embracing your identity in Christ and walking in the fullness of His grace and authority.

    Points:

    - The goal of Christianity is identity, authority, and fellowship with God

    - Many believers operate on stories and ideas about God rather than knowing His true nature

    - Grace is not just divine favor, but the Holy Spirit working in us.

    - Faith is not something we do, but the person of Christ and His finished work.

    - Faith and grace are not abstract concepts, but expressions of Christ and the Holy Spirit's work in us

    - God's intention is to bring us into His nature, not just give us information about Him

    - Living from God's nature manifests His glory and transforms us into Christ's image.

    - The gospel is not a stretch-fit ideology that fits the whims of our humanity.

    Declarations:

We receive all things by the fellowship of grace.

The Holy Spirit leads, equips, and builds us into the likeness of the Father.

We walk in our portion of all things through the workings of faith.

The love of the Father is our testimony.

We are seated in Christ far above all in oneness and victory.

The superabundance of God is our reality.

We transform our world to become the atmosphere of Christ's divinity.

We are speaking God's word to our minds and region.

We are reconciling all creation to God's original intention.

We continue to rise in glory and rest in love.

We represent the full expression of the love of God for us in Christ.
