    We had so much fun at Agua Dulce Winery that we became members! Go visit their beautiful property and you'll see why! Wear good shoes so you can walk around out back and admire the Vinyard, say hi to some animals, and maybe even play horseshoes. We enjoyed our time sitting in the gazebo and scoping out the views of the place. Giana was so very nice and made sure we had a great time during our tasting. If you get to taste the Reserve Port, you might get a little chocolate with it. We were so surprised at how chocolate worked with the Port. So delicious! Here is their website: Agua Dulce Winery Nic really loves the Syrah and even though Nicole is mostly a Cab girl, the Syrah took her heart as well! You'll hear in the episode we took home 4 bottles with our membership. *insert shoulder shrug* There are snacks to purchase, and we do suggest doing so.     Maxdons has been a staple in the community since the 70s! Owner, Neil Curran has been successful in creating a great place to eat, drink and socialize for nearly 5 decades! They are located on Avenue I just west of 13th Street West. You can play darts and jukebox wars and offer ample seating inside at booths and tables and also have a patio that has been expanded (we hope it does not go away post-pandemic) with tons of seating and tv's to enjoy whatever sport is on at the time! They do offer to-go orders over the phone (661-948-4228) or stop in! Nic and Nicole's Drink: Champagne Splits (aka Mini Bottles of Champagne) and Green Tea Shots Our Favorite Food Items: BEST. STEAK.     Hey y'all!! Come on an adventure with us this week at the one and only Broken Bit Steakhouse in Quartz Hill! They are located located at 50th Street West and Avenue M on the southwest corner. They have added a really nice patio and the inside is rugged and really neat. There is wood everywhere and has that hometown feel. The owner is Mike Burroughs, the story of how the name came about is really cool...go to their website and check it out!     Perfect Date Night Spot! ....or let's be honest, the perfect Girl Gang spot to whine and wine about life! Complexity is a place that we frequent because they offer so many different things! First of all, their wine collection boasts over 200 varietals, and their cheese options are endless! Before the Covid shutdowns they had live music in their dining room, and we are so looking forward to enjoying it again sometime soon! They are located in the shopping center on J-8 and 20th Street West. They have heaters on their patio for when it's cold, and even wheeled over an industrial size cooler to us in the heat of the summer! They're prepared for anything.     We are pretty much BFF's with Lucky Luke's: Sam, Brian, the whole dang place, and both locations at that! No, but really, what's not to love? Delicious beer, revolving taps, food, food, and more food, we literally can't say enough! They have two locations: the BrewPub in Lancaster on the BLVD and the Taproom in Palmdale just east of 10th Street West on Avenue O. The BrewPub has ample seating on the inside and a fantastic patio that has been expanded during the pandemic. The Taproom has seating inside and a huge patio where you can play games with your friends and on certain days enjoy delicacies from a food truck! Here is their website: Lucky Luke Brewing Co. They currently only offer to-go orders AND delivery within a certain distance, call for details (no in-person dining due to COVID-19 guidelines). We were lucky (no pun intended...or maybe it was) to be able to visit both locations while they were still open and cannot wait to go again! Nic's Drink: Double Hazy IPA's or Hazy IPA's are my jam! Nicole's Drink: Not a big beer drinker *blush* but I love the ciders they offer at the BrewPub that are brewed by Brown Knows Cider out of Agua Dulce Our Favorite Food Items: Literally EVERYTHING!
