Ever feel like you’re not qualified for what God is calling you to do?

Same. But God has a habit of choosing imperfect people, giving impossible assignments, and still making incredible things happen.

This episode is for the people battling insecurity, fear, doubt, or feeling “not ready.” Your calling was never based on your résumé — it was based on God’s purpose.

Stop letting excuses talk you out of what God already spoke over your life. If He called you, He’ll equip you. Period.

Ever feel frustrated watching someone else receive the same blessing you worked way longer for? 👀🍇

In this episode of The Retelling, we dive into the Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard — where the workers who started at sunrise were HOT when the 5PM crew received the exact same pay. 😅💰

But here’s the twist: the vineyard owner never cheated anyone. Every worker agreed to the same wage — one denarius. So why were the early laborers so upset?

This story challenges comparison, entitlement, jealousy, and our understanding of God’s grace. Sometimes we think blessings should be based on hours worked… but God’s kingdom doesn’t operate like human scorekeeping. 🙏🏾

Whether you’ve been serving God for years or you’re just now finding your faith, this parable reminds us that grace isn’t earned — it’s given.

In this episode of The Retelling, we tap into the difference between Mary & Martha and unpack a question we all have to face:

Are we doing too much… and missing what matters most?

Martha was busy, stressed, and handling all the things.

Mary? She chose to sit with Jesus.

And Jesus makes it clear—one of them chose the better portion.

This episode is your reminder that being busy doesn’t always mean being aligned. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause, sit, and be present with God.

Are you running around… or are you locked in with Jesus?

When do you feel the most distracted in your walk with God?

    📖 Scripture:

    Luke 10:38–42

    Call to Action:

This week, take a moment each day to pause, pray, and sit with God—no distractions.
