Welcome to The Quiet Ranks. Here, we say the quiet part......out loud.

Here, we give name to our Silent Demons. The unspoken struggles. The things that shape us, strain us, and sometimes break us but don’t get named nearly enough. Faith, marriage, trauma and plenty more and the cost it takes to bear them.

There is no polished, tidy or performative way about it. It’s raw, reflective, and honest. Sometimes heavy. Sometimes tender. Sometimes funny in that dark, human way that helps us breathe again. I talk the way I live, which means there with be some explicit language for sure, strong feelings, and unfiltered thoughts. Listener discretion is advised, but if you’re still here, you’re probably my people.

My faith is not hidden here. I love Jesus, I carry a strong testimony, and I believe deeply that God meets us right where we are. We lay the bedrock through conversation, truth, and courage and then we give it to God to hold.

    Why this Podcast?

    This is for the Ranks of silently created soldiers who stand in the background of the front-line soldiers. We are the ones who hold it down on the homefront and make life believe that we have it all together. Yet, behind closed doors, we drown too. We want so bad to be the magic person for our service-connected loved one but no one stops to teach us how to approach this slippery slope once we are on it. It's a daily battle and we usually have to traverse it alone.

    Well, no more. This will be the location to come and unload, recharge, let loose, and say all those silent demons out loud.
