Lets head back to the West Coast as we look at one of the most haunted houses in the US.

Built in the 1850's the Whaley house was made as a home for Thomas and Anna Whaley and their 6 children. But it would be so much more than that. It housed a theater troupe, a courtroom, and a general store.

But even before there was a house there, this land was used as the local gallows. One of the last executions was that of a infamous criminal, who, like many of the Whaley family has decided this will be his eternal resting place.

This week we are taking a more historical look at a person who seem to be super human rather than just human.

Jack Churchill was not born a war hero but it didn't take long for him to get that title when he finally join the military. During WW2 troops were given machine guns, rifles, bombs and all manner of weapons to fight against the nazis, but that was not Jack's style.

Mad was added to Jack's name due to the fact he would go into battle with nothing more than a broadsword and long bow. Oh yeah, and he played the bagpipes while going into battle.

What a guy.

One of the most famous ships in the world is the Queen Mary. Stationed in Long Beach the Queen Mary spent decades taking passengers back and forth across the sea.

Whether it was as a luxury ship or a military transporter this ship saw thousands of souls cross through her doors, and not all of them have left.

Come with us to my birthplace as we look at two of my favorite places in the whole world.

Built in the late 1800's for the mentally ill in NC Dorothea Dix Hospital stood as a beacon of hope for many people in the state until her doors were closed in 2012.

On the same plot of land stands the majestic NC State. Go Wolfpack!! Built in the late 1800's as well this university has taught some of the brightest minds of the last century.

But both of these places, and the land they stand on, have seen death pain and misery. With that kinda history it is no surprised that they are so haunted.

This week Ian gives us a taste of Rethinking Our History with a paranormal twist.

The Nazis are known for the many atrocities they committed during the Holocaust but not many people know of their more occult beliefs. Well, if you're a Supernatural fan you knew it already due to the several Nazi related episodes.

In the largest desert in the world, the Gobi Desert, there is a legend of a creature so deadly that a touch and kill a man.

The Mongolian Death Worm is the stuff of nightmares, a worm that can grow up to 5 feet long, has spikes at both ends and shoots venom at it's victims.

But it is real? Or is what people have reported seeing for years nothing more than an unknown species of snake or legless lizard?

We may never know.

This week Ian brings us into the piedmont of our home state to look at an area that has been talked about for centuries.

Out in the woods of Chatham County NC is a circle of barren ground that can not grow plants. There is some grass these days, but no trees, no flowers, nothing other than the hardiest of grasses.

What is it about this place that can grow nothing? Are the rumors of large bear like creatures chasing people true? Or the ones of how people have went to sleep inside the circle, only to awaken outside of it?
