    Lilliam Rivera is the author of nine works of fiction, most notably Never Look Back, winner of a 2021 Pura Bel-pray Award in Young Adult literature. Rivera also authored the graphic novel UNEARTHED: A Jessica Cruz Story for DC Marvel along with artist Steph C. ⁠

    Rivera is a recipient of fellowships from MacDowell and PEN Center USA. NPR, The New Yorker, Los Angeles Times, and New York Times have all noted Rivera’s work on their Best of Lists.⁠
