In 1773, the Boston Tea Party was more than a protest over a drink — it was a stand against a corporate monopoly backed by the Crown’s armed enforcers. Today, the names and uniforms have changed, but the structure hasn’t. In this episode of Outpost Radio, we draw a direct line from the East India Company’s tea monopoly to modern corporate special interests, and from redcoats in the streets to the blue uniforms that guard today’s monopolies. We’ll break down why the Third and Fourth Amendments were designed to keep state-backed commerce out of our communities, and why dismissing them as outdated has left us under a new kind of occupation. This is where comfort ends, and responsibility begins.
