When the Lord gets fed up with even Moses, He has a line in the BIble where He says to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to MOVE!”

Sometimes we don’t know why we are afraid to move but we can trace the roots. We can learn to move without fear. We can also learn that when God is blunt with us He isn’t rejecting us… He’s intimately telling us - “Look, buddy. Are we gonna do this or not?” God knows me well enough to know this is the tone I need when I’m stuck or frozen. And you know what? It works!

HIS STILL SMALL VOICE REQUIRES US TO BE BRAVE. IT REQUIRES US TO LISTEN. EVEN WHEN WE DON’T GET IT. CHANCES ARE THE PERSON ON THE RECEIVING END OF THE GIFT, THE KINDNESS, WILL HAVE ALREADY BEEN PRAYING FOR THAT WHICH GOD PLACED ON YOUR HEART.

LEAN INTO GOD AND HE WILL LEAN INTO YOU.

His goodness is mightier than every scheme of the devil. Every lie. Every plot. He is going to make the pathways straight and Exodus 14:13-14 is going to be true in your life and your family’s life too.

The Lord lives outside of time and space. When you are caught up on lost time, waiting for justice or watching the clock out of habit, remember that your God is omnipresent and omnipotent. That’s just a fancy way of saying He’s everywhere and in ALL time at once.

Trust Him when you don’t understand it all. He is capable of painting a picture of recompense that just might surprise you if you took the time to look at Him more than you did the time.

Jesus was a no nonsense guy. I love that about His methods. Don’t give up on the bigger miracles even when time has passed. The Lord still has a miracle for you and it is in the room if you want it.

Communication breakdowns are a tale as old as time. Sometimes the issue isn’t even external. It’s internal. When we challenge the reasons we really feel the way we feel, when we go to God first, we can grow into better versions of our self and others can feel safe to grow into better versions of themselves too.

I always loved Peter’s friendship with Jesus above all the others. It’s safe to say it’s because Peter was a lot like you and me. He got it right, and then horribly wrong, and then Jesus built Him back up from that very broken space into something unshakeabe. If you’re feeling like you messed it all up or like you don’t know what happens next, I pray this finds you in your confusion of why He chose you…

And I prophesy that you start to understand today in Jesus name.

The devil you know… is still the devil you know. Comfort can be such a misleading thing when you are accustomed to normalcy being hurtful. When the devil you know comes calling, keep reaching for Jesus and continue your journey to the Promise Land. It is still waiting and will be until you stop turning around to go back to Egypt.
