Dundalk complete a great week with a draw against Derry City to take 7 points from 9 in a game they dominated but were forced to share the spoils due to momentary defensive lapses.

After a strong showing in Dalymount park on our last visit to the capital Dundalk enjoy a rollercoaster game in Tolka as an energetic start against a sluggish Shels sees the Lilywhites establish a 2 goal half time lead. A Sean Gannon inspired fightback saw Shels draw level before a late o.g. restored Dundalk's lead. Dundalk FC enjoy an excellent week with a monday night victory over Sligo Rovers and an impressive point earned in Dalymount Park against table topping Bohemians. While the Lilywhites rode their luck in a game of fine margins against Sligo the battling and tactically astute perfomance against Bohs leave the Lilywhites sitting comfortablly in mid table at the International break with Ciaran Kilduff handling injuries and suspensions by getting the best out of his young squad.
