 In 1930s New York, the Capucci and Carousel families competed for Manhattan territories to control the drug, alcohol, and prostitution trade. Evelina, the wife of boss Santo Capucci, assisted in the illegal accumulation of wealth she took care of, and lived a comfortable life immersed in the power of the local mafia. Until one day, in the dark room of a movie theater, she sees a film that will change her life: "Gone with the Wind." She decides to stop working for her husband in his dirty mafia business because she is tired of living among corpses, blood, and torture.
