  • The Path of Being Nobody Someday w/ Hunter
    Feb 16 2026

In this contemplative and heart-opening conversation, I sit down with Hunter to explore the paradoxes of spiritual awakening, the practice of becoming nobody, and what it means to truly be present in a world that constantly tells us to do more.

Hunter shares his journey from a 10-year hip-hop career driven by external validation to discovering A Course in Miracles and stepping into a path of radical non-doing. Drawing inspiration from Ram Dass and other wisdom traditions, we explore the idea that separation from God is impossible, how suffering can be grace, and how taking things personally often reveals our identification with the character rather than the whole stage.

I also share pieces of my own journey — from basketball and conditional love to the ongoing practice of knowing myself and staying fully human while walking a spiritual path.

Together, we navigate the tension between accepting that everything is perfect while still engaging with a world that appears to be full of suffering.

    In this episode we explore:

    • the difference between being and doing• why happiness isn’t found in external things• the metaphor of reincarnation as a baton race toward reunion with God• learning to see the love behind all words and actions• the paradox of awakening: nothing to do, and yet we still show up• Ram Dass, A Course in Miracles, and the path of becoming nobody

This conversation is for anyone questioning their relationship with productivity, seeking deeper meaning beyond worldly pursuits, or curious about what it means to rest in the awareness that we are not just this body, this person, or these thoughts.

  • The Path of Vast, Heart-Led Reception w/ Julynel
    Feb 10 2026

This is a nearly two-hour, spacious conversation between Julynel and I

Julynel—Zen Buddhist practitioner, meditator, and mindful dialogue speaker.

Julynel shares her path into Zen Buddhism, beginning with a life-shaping retreat at 22 years old in Oregon. We talk about lineage, discipline, and devotion to practice, including dy

ad meditation—a vocal, inquiry-based form of meditation rooted in koans and deep listening.

We explore our morning rituals and daily practices—not as productivity hacks, but as ways of orienting the nervous system, the heart, and the mind. Meditation, breathwork, journaling, hydration, making the bed mindfully—small acts that become anchors for presence.

A large thread in this conversation is about staying grounded while walking a spiritual path. How do we remain connected to the unseen without floating away from the body, the earth, and the very real world we live in? How do we become more embodied, not less, through practice?

We also move into tender and complex territory around social justice and activism—particularly navigating anger, grief, and righteous rage in response to ICE, state violence, and protest. Julynel shares a powerful story of standing still in front of armed police as an act of love, and we explore what it means to resist without becoming consumed by hatred or violence.

This is a conversation about balance:– transcendence and embodiment– discipline and softness– anger and Love– slowing down in a world that demands speed

As we talk about in this episode, a fast mind is a sick mind.

This episode is intimate, contemplative, and honest—two practitioners sitting together in curiosity, humility, and mutual respect, asking how to live, practice, and Love forward in these times.

Julynel Kerzner offers 1:1 coaching, and meditation sessions. She specializes in working with individuals who want to strengthen their awareness using meditation practices. Individuals who want to cultivate a personal daily practice, and offers opportunities for participation in group settings where inquiry and contemplation are the focus.

  • A Path of Heart, Hands, and Guts w/ Julian K
    Feb 3 2026

In this deeply personal episode of The Loving Forward Podcast, I sit down with Julian—massage therapist, musician, and community-minded human—to explore what it means to be a healer in complicated political times.

We begin with Julian’s work providing massage therapy to low-income clients through the Oregon Health Plan, and slowly move into a raw, honest conversation about my first protest, navigating anger and fear, and discerning how to show up without losing our humanity.

We don’t pretend to have answers. Instead, we stay with the questions: How do we engage resistance without becoming what we’re fighting? How do healers, wisdom-holders, and community builders act with integrity right now? What does it look like to keep loving forward when things feel volatile?

This is a conversation about complexity, restraint, courage, and choosing connection—especially when it would be easier to avoid.

    Topics We Explore

My experience at the January 27th, 2026 Eugene protest

Rage, fear, and the pull toward violence—and how to work with them

The many roles needed in movements (fighters, healers, supporters)

Caring for yourself before trying to save the world

Building real, local community as a grounding force

The radical practice of praying for those we oppose

Finding a sustainable role without burning out

    Content Note

This episode includes discussions of protest violence, police response, tear gas, and harmful rhetoric expressed at demonstrations.

There is plenty of insight, humility, and Truth to chew on in this episode. I hope it feels supportive and helpful in some or many ways.
