THE GOSPEL PODCAST – Genesis 24-25 – Daily Devotional Jan. 8, 2026 THE CROWN JEWEL OF SCRIPTURE TYPES

Dive into the longest chapter in Genesis—the richest picture of Christ calling His bride in this age of grace! Brother Tony McLaughlin mines seven gleaming jewels each from Abraham (as God the Father), the unnamed eldest servant (as the Holy Ghost), Rebekah (as the called-out Church), Sarah’s vacated tent (dispensational transition), and the fleshly contrasts of Ishmael & Esau.

See sovereign grace in action: The Father sends His Spirit with unlimited riches to woo a willing bride for His resurrected Son. Rebekah runs to serve, receives earnest gifts, says “I will go,” journeys by faith, and meets her Bridegroom at eventide—a preview of the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:17)!

No replacement theology here—Israel’s earthly promises postponed but rock-solid, while the Church is exalted in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Warning: Don’t despise your birthright like Esau or trust flesh like Ishmael—cling to grace!

Heart-stirring, old-time preaching from the King James Bible. Rightly divided, dispensationally sound, with a burden for souls. Glory—what a type! What a Saviour! What a Book!

Subscribe, listen, and let iron sharpen iron (Proverbs 27:17). Are you sealed and journeying? Or will you say “I will go” today? The Bridegroom cometh!

  • The Table of Nations - Gen 10:32
    Jan 3 2026

Episode Title: The Division of Nations: From Human Government to the Times of the Gentiles – Waiting for Grace and Truth Series: 2026 Through the Bible – Daily Readings in Genesis Episode Date: January 3, 2026 Reading: Genesis 8–10 (Focus on Genesis 10 – The Table of Nations)

    Description:

Many of us skim the long lists of names in the Bible, wondering why God included them. But in Genesis 10—the Table of Nations—we find one of the most fundamental chapters for understanding the word of God dispensationally.

In this episode, we slow down and pay close attention to how God sovereignly divided mankind after the Flood into nations under the Dispensation of Human Government. Gentiles lived for centuries accountable only by conscience and the Noahic covenant—never under the Mosaic Law.

We trace God's plan: calling Israel out of those nations to be a kingdom of priests, meant to display His holiness and teach His perfect ways to the watching world. Yet Israel failed in that priestly witness, leading to divine judgment and the beginning of the prophetic "times of the Gentiles"—a period of Gentile dominion over Jerusalem that continues to this day.

The Gentile nations paid a heavy price for Israel's unfaithfulness, sinking deeper into darkness while waiting centuries for fuller light.

But praise God—the wait ended when grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. He is the true Light to the Gentiles and the fulfillment of everything Israel was called (but failed) to be.

Using only the Authorized Version 1611 (AV1611) and classic dispensational teaching, we rightly divide the word of truth, showing God's distinct dealings with Gentiles and Israel, magnifying the glory of grace in this Church Age, and looking forward to Israel's future restoration.

Whether you're new to dispensationalism or a longtime student, this episode will help you see Genesis 10 not as a dry list, but as the blueprint for God's sovereign plan that points ultimately to Christ.

    Key Scriptures Covered: Genesis 10:32 • Romans 1:20 • Deuteronomy 32:8 • Galatians 3:24 • Hebrews 7:19 • Revelation 11:2 • Luke 2:30-32 • Romans 10:4 • Matthew 28:19 • and more.

Perfect for Bible-believing Baptists, dispensationalists, and anyone hungry to understand the Bible in its proper divisions.

Listen now and be strengthened in the faith once delivered unto the saints.
