Über diesen Titel
In 1848 gold was discovered in the rivers of California. News soon spread not only across the United States but around the world. Many Chinese immigrated to the US to find their riches. Often finding mining not profitable they turned to other forms of employment, from houseboys to working to build the transcontinental railroad.
In the first few minutes of this episode, I mention two Chinese that found a boulder worth $30,000. I meant to say a gold boulder. Also, I took time to look up and practice how to correctly pronounce Chinese names, places, and words. I am sorry if I mispronounced anything.
