  • Danielle Cosby: New confidence, building a team she can trust and stepping into the next level of her music
    Feb 19 2026

Our very first podcast recording with out very first artist at Freda: Danielle Cosby!

Danielle shares her musical upbringing, finding confidence, building a team she can trust, putting it all on the line and stepping into the next level of her musical career.

Danielle Cosby is a Nashville-based soul-pop songstress and powerhouse, creating groove forward music for late-night soul searches, kitchen dance parties, and taking the long way home. Rooted in decades of live performaces and shaped by real-life reflection, her sound blends rhythm, warmth, range, and raw emotional honesty–music that makes you move while subtly (and sometimes no-so-subtly) asking bigger questions.

Her upcoming project, Songs for a Millennial, is a two-part release (Side A and Side B) born from the classic millennial spiral: What am I even doing here–and why am I like this? This album was recorded at Freda Recording and will be released in the spring of 2026. Her first single, Legacy, is available now.

Thank you, Danielle, for your time and story and for entrusting us with your art.

  • Emma Miller: Writing the most honest music to date and flying across the world to record it.
    Dec 11 2025

Scottish artist, Emma Miller, joins us in the studio for an evening of conversation about her story of writing the most honest music to date and the experience of flying across the world to record with us. From piano lessons as a child, getting a songwriting diploma and realizing this could be something, Emma shares her journey of getting to know herself and having a strong vision for her craft.

Emma Miller is an independent indie-folk singer/songwriter from Ediburgh, Scottland. Known for her harmonious vocals, powerful lyrics and exquisite paino playing.

Emma's first single 'Siren' from her album 'I Want to Be the Anchor' is now available on all streaming services. The full record will be released in 2026, which explores the themes of love, loss and the question of wanting children.

"Despite the melancholy and vulnerability of the songs, it was a beautifully liberating record to make and marks a chapter of deep personal and creative growth. The songs capture a timeline that stretches over the last few years for some, with others being written in the months and weeks leading up to recording in Tennessee. They are the lessons of a woman navigating her 30's and reveal the quiet inner strength that comes from knowing oneself: the good, the bad and the ugly."

Thank you to Emma for the interview and for entrusting us with such a beautiful and deeply personal process.
