In this episode, my daughter Ella and I discuss Jimmy Rex's new book BE ONE: How to be a Healthy Man in Toxic Times. We had a brief discussion on the last episode regarding some of the challenges as it relates to perhaps some misconceptions but also some of my own experiences being married for 23 years and still having difficulty at times holding space. I just think about having good intentions is great but without any tools to work with or the knowledge around some of the key differences in the needs and communication styles that differ between a man and women, you will likely continue to repeat the same actions and therefore get the same results. So in this episode we discuss some of the tips and communication that can be adapted in order for both involved in the relationship can develop deeper levels of connection and acceptance and in the end feel like the core needs are being met.
