Über diesen Titel

The Football Travel Pod is the podcast that football / soccer fans are looking for. In every episode we find out what big events are happening in global football from a different corner of the globe; with a particular passion for what is happening in South American football. We also like to bring a bit of Anthony Bourdain to your life and talk about the stories, culture and of course food that we or our impressive guests encounter on their football related travels. Join us and your host Joseph O'Sullivan on a journey to the U.S.A for the Club World Cup and find us on Youtube and Instagram at @FootballTravelMan or @TheAtlanticDispatch !

On the second episode of the Football Travel Pod we reflect on a weekend in Albania and the beauty of the Balkans. We also invite Federico Colaianni onto the Pod as we talk about River Plate and Boca Juniors ahead of their Club World Cup adventure.

There is also room for Forbes.com and Destination Calcio writer Emmet Gates to talk all things Italy. We discuss some hidden gems for football weekends across the nation and ask if Inter Milan and Juventus are bothered about their big summer tournament in the U.S.A.

On the first ever episode of the Football Travel Pod host Joseph O'Sullivan (who is a football writer and content producer) goes live to Buenos Aires to hear about the new Champion of Argentina, before crossing over to Brazil where Neymar is slowly being replaced by Carlo Ancelotti as the saviour of the Brazilian national team.

There is also a worthy mention for Luis Enrique as he becomes the second manager to win two European trebles, and we discuss the Copa Libertadores round of 16 draw.
