  • Super Benito Bowl
    Feb 16 2026
This week it’s the least annoying episode in a long time because it’s just Jordan Centry + Jason Allen King (Jonathan is… “on the lamb” ). We recap the Super Bowl (the game was mid, let’s be real) but the halftime show was the main event: Bad Bunny delivered the first all-Spanish Super Bowl performance with huge production, cultural references, and a message of unity — and of course it sent certain people into a meltdown. We talk representation, why “woke” has become a meaningless complaint, and how you can’t celebrate “America” while acting like Puerto Rico isn’t part of it. Then we pivot into a hilarious/real convo about productivity types (morning people vs night owls), “eat the frog,” and why staying late at work after 3 PM is basically performance art. In the second half, we revisit the NateLand at Sea lineup conversation and why diversity matters on shows — not as a “political” thing, but because it makes comedy better and reflects the audience. Plus we bring back a new segment: “60 seconds on something we know nothing about” (Cornelius tourism board, call us ), and close with Would You Rather questions that spiral exactly the way you’d want them to. Threes Comedy Tour kicks off March 10 (Tuesday) in Cornelius, NC at the Cain Center for the Arts. Tickets are on sale now and they’re moving. https://cainarts.org/event/threes-com... Also shoutout to Comics React Live (CRL) — Feb 19 @ 7PM at The Comedy Zone (Charlotte) — music video countdown reactions + stand-up + DJ energy (TRL/106 & Park vibes). https://www.cltcomedyzone.com/shows/3... • Don't Trust the Headlines
    Feb 10 2026
Zoning Out Podcast presented by The Comedy Zone is back — Jordan Centry, Jonathan Williams (@MrWilliamsComedy), and Jason Allen King kick it off with friendly fit-check chaos (including an Ozempic roast that gets out of hand), then dive into two wild weeks of “what is happening in the world?” energy: unexpected snow/ice stories, teen party memories, and a very questionable “files” conversation that turns into jokes about rich people being way too bold in emails. From there, the episode swerves into music + pop culture: Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy run, the Drake discourse, Kanye’s apology era (including where he chose to apologize), and a quick detour into Sydney Sweeney rumor territory that immediately proves why you should never trust the first headline you click. Then the boys introduce a new recurring segment: “60 Seconds of Non-Expertise” — rapid-fire, improvised “deep dives” on topics they absolutely should not be trusted to explain (Seahawks vs Patriots, Michelle Williams’ film career, Kendrick + Tupac… and yes, someone says “gang community”). They wrap with upcoming shows and big announcements — including Jason opening for Anthony Jeselnik at Goodnights in Raleigh — plus Jordan’s Valentine’s Day Brunch comedy show, Comics React Live at The Comedy Zone, and a reminder to grab tickets for THREE COMEDY at the Cain Center in Cornelius on Tuesday, March 10. TICKETS / SHOW INFO • THREE’S COMEDY — Cain Center for the Arts (Cornelius, NC) — Tuesday, March 10 • Jason Allen King opening for Anthony Jeselnik — Goodnights (Raleigh) — Feb 19–21 • Jordan Centry: Valentine’s Day Brunch Show — Deluxe Fine Dining (Uptown Charlotte) — Feb 14 • Comics React Live (CRL) — The Comedy Zone — Feb 19 FOLLOW + SUBSCRIBE Subscribe for full episodes + clips, and follow us on IG for show updates.

  • We're Off on Monday?
    Jan 28 2026
This one goes everywhere. We kick things off on MLK Day talking legacy, performative “holiday energy,” and why certain political commentators always find a way to make everything worse. From there, we get into comments about MLK, the internet’s selective outrage machine, and why it feels like corporations (and the NFL) do PR calculus instead of having a conscience. Then we spiral (in the best way) into: the files, who would actually hurt to see on the list, whether the conspiracies are getting harder to dismiss, and why “when they start hiding it” is when everybody locks in. In the second half, Jordan breaks down getting called “Temu Drake” at Duckworth’s, dealing with bots and hate comments, and we talk about professionalism in comedy after a local open mic debate goes sideways online. We wrap with thoughts on standup movies that don’t feel real, Ryan Davis on Shannon Sharpe, and upcoming show dates — including Comics React Live at The Comedy Zone. COMICS REACT LIVE — Feb 19 (Charlotte Comedy Zone) A standup + music video reaction experience inspired by the 2000s countdown era. Dress up, pull up, and please buy tickets so Jordan can do this again. https://www.cltcomedyzone.com/shows/3... • Old Yeller
    Jan 20 2026
The gang’s back together — Jordan Centry, Jonathan Williams, and Jason Allen King — with rum, coke (a lot of coke), and big 2026 energy. We open with an important announcement: Three’s Comedy Tour hits the Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius, NC on March 10. If you’re in Charlotte, Huntersville, Mooresville, or anywhere nearby, grab tickets now at cainarts.org. Then we get into awards season chaos, including the indie horror film “Good Boy” — shot from a dog’s perspective — and the question nobody expected to debate: Can a dog be a great actor? (And does this open the door for more dog-led horror films?) From there, the conversation turns into a love letter to craft: acting choices, career pivots, and why certain performers (Michael B. Jordan, Timothée Chalamet, Idris Elba, Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, and more) hit different when they’re locked in. In the second half, we show love to the Charlotte comedy scene, shout out both clubs (The Comedy Zone + Duckworth’s) and talk about what it means to get “passed” — plus why that kind of recognition matters for building a real comedy culture in the city. Finally, we set 2026 goals for each other (with equal parts encouragement and roasting), and close with a Would You Rather that turns into a full-on morality debate: Generational wealth… or a portal gun that lets you travel the multiverse? • Steve's Stranger Things
    Jan 14 2026
Zoning Out is back for the first episode of 2026! Jordan, Jason, and Jonathan kick off the new year by diving into the Stranger Things series finale (SPOILERS AHEAD). We break down what hit, what missed, and what had us yelling at the screen: the “volume” release strategy, the over-explaining/exposition-heavy dialogue, characters randomly turning into motivational speakers, and the biggest debate of all… How did NOBODY important die?! We also get into: • Why Season 4 might’ve been the peak • How the show shifted from creepy mystery to full superhero action • Vecna getting a little too much screen time (and backstory) • Nancy going full Rambo • The military being cartoonishly evil • And why Hawkins realistically should’ve been erased from the map afterward. Then we close with a Would You Rather that turns into a personality test: Would you rather have a “skip the awkward part” button or a “redo one sentence” button — once per day, for life? Plus: quick show plugs and cruise abandonment allegations. Like, comment, and subscribe (we just cracked 30!) New episodes presented by The Comedy Zone

    Dec 31 2025
The boys are back for a Hawaii-style year-end recap episode of Zoning Out — recorded not in paradise, but in Jason’s living room. Dec 18 2025
The Zoning Out crew dives into everything from Christian university commercials to headlining in small towns vs. chasing dreams in NYC, plus a heated debate about whether the Three Little Pigs survived (spoiler: Jason was right).
