  • An Upper Room Experience
    Sep 30 2024

I had the privilege to attend the Upper Room Prayer Conference in Berlin on 15-17 August 2024 which is an apostolic movement lead by Apostle Randolf Adjei. The 3 day flagship conference brings people from all over the world to gather and seek the face of God. The three days is followed with deep prayers, worship, learning, and fellowship.

God‘s presence was so intense all throughout the conference. That even in the midst of the prayer conference being faced with death of my grandfather, the only thing I knew to do was worship God.

I have returned from Upper Room with my cup running over of the joy of the Lord, experiencing the joy of God that is strengthening me in this season.

Moreover I’ve returned from UR24 with a deeper hunger for God and filled with more hope for what the future holds. Rejoicing in God even in the midst of pain, grief, uncertainty and transition.

Remaining steadfast in prayer and continuing to be rooted in Christ.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God“ 2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬.

  • I Wasn’t Really a Christian
    Sep 15 2024

The word Christian only appears in the Bible 3 times:

    • First time, when followers of Christ in Antioch are called Christians in Acts 11:26.
    • Second in Acts 26; Paul defending his case before the king of Judea.
    • Lastly 1 Peter 4:16; where apostle Peter encourages us to suffer with Christ as a Christian for the glory of God.

I grew up in a Christian religious household; I knew if God but I didn’t know God personally. I grew up in a religious environment where there was sadly no discipleship.

Growing up religious I thought I’m automatically saved from the judgement of God and I’m part of His Kingdom family. Furthermore I use to call myself Christian but my life was not submitted to the authority of God nor did I have a relationship with Him. I went to many alter calls, giving my life to Jesus Christ but then I would go back home and still live in the cycle of sin I was in.

But eventually in 2019 after God pursing me for a long time, I gave my life completely to God and even got baptized that year. I then joined the discipleship ministry in the church I was planted in and this was a big step on my new journey with God. Discipleship really helped me understand the Bible better and it helped me grow in my relationship with God.

God longs to have a relationship with you. He loves you and you are precious in His eyes.

I hope this episode blesses you :)
