African Americans continue to highlight the racial discrimination they face, yet there's a double standard when it comes to how people from other races are treated within the black culture. A recent viral video of a young white girl rapping lyrics from a popular rap song received widespread praise from large segments of the black community. This reaction reflects a recurring trend: people from outside the culture are often embraced only when they conform to stereotypes associated with "hood" or street culture, which includes being ghetto, thinking like a complete buffoon, and behaving like an ignorant fool.

Dating today has become somewhat of a chaotic battleground, with men and women constantly clashing over what the rules even are anymore. One of the biggest flashpoints is whether men should still be expected to pay for expensive first dates. Considering how drastically dating has changed over the past 20-30 years, I side with the men who argue that dropping a lot of money early on, especially on a first date (or even the first few dates for that matter), is just not a very smart move.

Fitness influencer Joey Swoll recently became the latest target of the online outrage mob, who (as always) were eager to “cancel” someone. This time, the uproar started after Joey posted a tribute to recently deceased WWE legend Hulk Hogan. Critics took offense because of racially insensitive remarks Hogan made many years ago, and when Joey issued an apology for the tribute, he made a harmless slip-up that his detractors twisted into “proof” he was racist. The entire episode was absurd, especially given that many of the same people leading the charge against Joey have a track record of behavior far worse than anything he’s ever done.

Christianity was once rooted in love, sacrifice, compassion, and a sincere effort to live with morals and dignity. Sadly, today’s version often seems far removed from those values. Many modern Christians appear more focused on wealth, materialism, and creating a so-called “Christian lifestyle” that makes room for drinking, smoking, foul language, and reckless behavior. The result is a faith that feels broken and confused, which is far from what it was meant to be. It’s time someone spoke up on why the “modern day” Christian faith is in such disarray.

“The Mamba Mentality,” a mindset popularized by the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant, describes the relentless drive and focus that made him so exceptional on the basketball court. Like many sports philosophies, this mindset has spilled over into mainstream culture, but unfortunately, not always in a positive way. Increasingly, it seems people are abandoning basic morals and decency, instead embracing an attitude rooted in cold-heartedness, lack of remorse, and a general disregard for others. One of the most common issues I’ve seen in relationships is couples falling apart over one major topic: Sex.
