The topic is very relevant, but it is disappointing how one-dimensional the author examines bias. A more comprehensive perspective would have been appreciated, e.g. the influence of gender bias and how it interacts.
A better understanding of statistics, and in particular a more precise look at causality, would not come amiss, too.
