🏙 Welcome to Sundown City. This dystopian hell scape is run by the technocratic elites. Yeah. They won. You're a captured rebel. Taken down to the whispered about camps. You had always known they existed but just couldn't prove it. The drive through the thick brush of the jungle is long and humid. Every bump jostling you and your fellow captives about the back. Hands bound and mouths gagged. Bumping your sweaty bodies against one another's and apologizing with fear filled eyes.

The can finally slows to a stop, and you hear the guards walking around to pull you out of the back. Roughly, they shuffle each of you out. More women than men. Dejected faces and huddled bodies marching towards the towering, sanitized building. Too pristine to exist here in the middle of the jungle. It looked out of place, that's for ssure. The guards march you closer and closer to the tinted glass doors. One by one, you file in. Pushed through metal detectors and hosed off before being pricked with a strange device. You can see the glowing under your skin, and you angrily wonder what they've chipped you with.

The lot of you are separated into groups. The classification of each is not made clear to any of you. The guards shackle your legs and arms together, and you find yourself shuffled off with a handful of other women. The glowing hallways and incandescent lights were disorienting. You try to adjust to the inky black rage coursing through you and shove it down for now. Your only task is to survive. Whatever may happen. You are shoved off into a cell and left there for the night. Sleeping only a few hours. Your mind races with thoughts of escape.

The next morning came with a knock on your door before two women dressed in lab coats entered and pulled you to your feet. Giggling to each other in a language you can't understand. You are impressed with their strength as they lead you into a side room and throw you onto a medical table. With a quick few moves, they remove your clothes and bind you to the table. Large leather straps tight around your wrists and angles. Leaving you spread eagle and helpless. Only a single woman returns. Kinder eyes than the other two. She approaches you with a clipboard and a smile....🤖

Shit. You sent in those reports without fixing that mistake you noticed. It's the fourth time just this week. Not to mention the last month. It's been a lot and you berate yourself under your breath for doing it again. The boss was already upset with you. You were sure she was sick of seeing your face in her office. Should you even tell her? Nah. It could be just a little secret between you and whatever higher power saw it.

The next morning goes easy. No one has called you in to correct you yet and you settle into work. Comfortable with knowing you may have gotten away with it this time. The divorce was kicking your ass and you found yourself too tired to care if you did get reprimanded. Everyday was just a blur now, since this nightmare began.

Click clack. You hear that distinctive set of heels marching down the hallway and right towards your cubicle. You shouldn't have gotten too comfortable..

A small trip to the next island over turned into a nightmare. Your boat has been lost at sea, and the only land in sight is a treacherous island barely able to be seen through the thick sheets of rain. You try your best to navigate, but instead, you crash. Thrown from your vessel onto the white sand. You awake in the morning. Disoriented and desperately lost, you stumble into a nearby cave. Seeking shelter and a reprieve from the sun.

Instead, you find a strangely adorned home. Stone statues line the walls and snakes slither underfoot. Footsteps echo closer..what have you stumbled into dear one?
