The main protagonist of this story was the pioneer of several branches of Romanian history and philology. His name was Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu and he is still remembered to this day as one of the most important figures of Romanian culture. However, there is something else he is even more famous for – his strong connection with his daughter Iulia Hasdeu, a connection which defied death and bridged the gap between the world of the living and the realm of the dead.
