The happiest place on earth transformed into a sanctuary of song, with some of the biggest names in gospel coming together to spread a message of hope and the good Lord above. It's a story that reminds us how music can bridge worlds, and I, for one, find it utterly delightful.

According to the Times, this "Gospel Night in Disneyland" was a one-of-a-kind celebration, starring legendary performers who brought their heartfelt harmonies to the park. Leading the lineup was the incomparable Shirley Caesar, known as the "First Lady of Gospel," whose powerful voice has inspired generations. Joining her were the Mighty Clouds of Joy, that dynamic quartet whose upbeat rhythms turn every song into a joyous testimony. Then there's Reverend James Cleveland, the pioneering "King of Gospel," who not only sang but preached with every note. The Clark Sisters, with their smooth, contemporary flair, added a fresh energy, and rounding out the evening was the great Albertina Walker, the "Queen of Gospel Music," whose timeless gospel songs have touched so many hearts.

Let’s take a glorious trip down memory lane to the soul stirring sounds of a gospel group that’s been lifting heart since 1964 - TheEvereadys. Oh what a journey they’ve embarked upon - a journey filled with faith harmony, and the unshakable love for Jesus Christ.

From 1984 they have an album titled Just Think of His Goodness. They bless us with a timeless single entitled: “My Soul Loves Jesus.” When I hear them sing those heavenly words, let me tell you, I hear not just a melody but a resounding chorus. They’re not just singing: they’re proclaiming, “Bless His Name.”

When I hear the uplifting words of the Evereadys, I know they share a deep truth when they sing the words “He has done great things for me.” What an amazing thought to remember how much grace he has shown. It touches my heart, reminding me of the countless blessings the Lord has given me.

They sing that “He died on Calvary” - a moment that changed everything where love sacrificed and mercy overcame sin. Do we really understand how heavy that is? A perfect Savior chose to take on the sins of a rebellious world, carrying all our mistakes. It was the greatest act of love.

But thank God, the crucifixion was not the end. No dear friends, it was just the start of hope and the door to eternal life. The Evereadys sang “He died that I might have eternal life.” And that my friends is what our faith is all about.
