    They share personal stories, simple tips (favor open questions, don’t force a tool, practice regularly), and pull two cards—Metal and Asclepius—underscoring divination as a personal path to insight and transformation.

    “-mancy” at the end of a word like tasseomancy simply means “combining form meaning divination by a certain method, such as tasseo (tea leaves).

    Divination is not a new practice, it’s been around for over 6,000 years. The earliest practices dating back to the fourth millennium in ancient Sumeria, Mesopotamia, and Egypt. For example, in 4000 B.C. Mesopotamian cultures were already using celestial events, weather to receive divine messages.

    The practice of divination can be used for a multitude of things to include seeking guidance, understanding, and knowledge of the future across various civilizations
