Day 4: Clearing The Clutter
Affirmation: I can release what weighs me down
Exercise: Write on a piece of paper one worry that you have been ruminating on. decide to give your brain a break and come back at a later designated time when you have more mental clarity to brainstorm about it. Literally write it down and/or put a reminder on your calendar to pick it back up at 10 am Saturday morning for example. Say a prayer or affirmation around it. I sometimes say, “ God allow me to release this thought for a while and give me to wisdom and clarity I need to solve it or fully it release it.” If you do not feel comfortable praying adapt the words to something that fits you but the point is to tell your mind that it doesn’t need to think about it for now and to open up your perspective to other possibilities around the situation or gather the resolve that you can just let it go as is.
Shift: By letting go of mental clutter ,I can shift from being distracted to becoming truly focused on what matters in my life
