On the second episode of the new podcast, I talk to Jeevika Shiv.

Jeevika is a law graduate from the University of Delhi. 

She is a National Gender Youth Advocate from India to the Generation Equality Forum with UN Women. 

She has been actively involved in youth engagement within the Gender Equality Forum and Beijing +25 processes. 

She has represented India at various international forums and has worked as an Associate Director with Fair Trial Initiative 39 A and was a Codirector  with a grassroot feminist organisation Anandi.

She is a member of the Right to Food campaign, Jan Swastya Abhiyan (peoples’ health movement), Women in Criminal Law Association (WCLA) and a founder member of Mahila Kisaan Adikar Manch Makaam and Gujarat Mahila Manch and part of Bahujan and feminist movements.

We talk about various topics including feminism, caste, understanding lived realities and speaking up for marginalised.
