On this weeks episode, I invited one of my training partners onto my sofa to have a chat about the battles he was having. I don't know Tom on a personal level so I really didn't know what to expect from our conversation. I knew Tom had a lot going on but I had no idea what was causing his pain. Among other things, Tom found alcohol as a coping mechanism and his partner recently raised concerns for his health with the amount of alcohol he was consuming. Tom has taken the concerns onboard and is making a very real effort to change his behaviours to better his mental and physical health.
