Epiphany 4, February 1, 2026. Who will I be tomorrow? This sermon meditation was first presented at the "Whitewater Winter Camp" a retreat for high school and college students held in southern Minnesota. Our devotions and studies centered around the theme of "Called". What do I do today to impact who I will be tomorrow? How do I take responsibility for my own spiritual life?

Epiphany 3, January 25, 2026. God Calls Moses: Excuse #1. I'm not qualified--I'm coming with you. Excuse #2. I don't know enough--I'll give you the answers. Excuse #3. They won't believe me--I'll do miracles. Excuse #4. I can't speak well enough--I made your mouth. I'll give you the words. Excuse #5. Send someone else--No. I'm sending you.

Epiphany 2, January 18, 2026. The Year of the LORD's Favor: Six-hundred years before the birth of Christ, Isaiah sees ourSavior’s ministry. With words that belong to Christ, Isaiah describes his work and his effect: beauty, joy, and praise come from his people, and the LORD God is glorified.

Epiphany 1, January 11, 2026. Listen, God is Calling: He calls out through ancient sacrifices, through the testimony of John the Baptizer, and through his Son’s simple invitation to, “Come and see.” He calls the world to complete forgiveness, and fellowship with the divine.

Christmas 2. January 4, 2026. From Cheater to Champion: All his life Jacob had struggled with man to determine his fate. In this he also struggled with God. Here Jacob is humbled by the LORD, and shown that his final victory will not come from his own strength or cleverness, but from the LORD’s grace and mercy.

The First Sunday after Christmas, December 28, 2025. Set Free: A faithful Christian named Simeon got to SEE the Christ Child with his own eyes. And in that Child he saw the world's salvation--and everlasting peace for his own soul. This event was recorded so we might know the same.

Advent Sunday 4. December 21, 2025. Understand about the loaves: Jesus fed the 5,000. The disciples got that. But they didn't understand how that should impact their lives. We know who the Bethlehem baby is. But is this impacting how we see the world and live in it? Do we "understand about the loaves?"

Advent Wednesday 3. December 17, 2025. What's in a Name? Immanuel. “God with us.” In a time of great fear, God revealed this name. A virgin would conceive and give birth. A human Child, but a miracle Child—and God himself come to dwell with his people. And in his light, all fear shall cease.
