We’re back with Kampy’s pick for our fantasy themed Show Off with as usual, a bit of an out of the box pick – Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
Join us for our discussion of the premiere episode of season 2, where things get more than a little weird. We start off with a giant scissors sword fight, then some dubious and unfortunately gooey torture methods, exactly the kind of asshole dudebro we hate, a Midwestern sheriff named Sherlock in Montana, an assassin in a pink tutu, Chekhov’s sweatshirt, a Lady Macbeth reference, the beautiful power of friendship, and more than a few capital C characters. This was a really fun episode for both of us, we hope you enjoy! And what do you think, does this show count as “fantasy?”
