Russian Doll is a Netflix series created and produced by Leslye Headland, Natasha Lyonne, and Amy Pohler. It stars Natasha Lyonne, Charlie Barnett, Greta Lee, Elizabeth Ashley, Annie Murphy, Rebecca Henderson, and Chloe Sevigny. In season 2, the show follows Nadia, played Lyonne, and Alan, played by Barnett, as they navigate time travel instead of the time loop of season 1. Nadia takes a subway ride that ends up bringing her to 1982 where she finds herself in mother's past. There, she begins to uncover an old family mystery.
