  • Inside EMERGENCY: Working for Care in Crisis Settings

    More than half of the global population does not have full access to essential health services. Every year, around 100 million people are pushed into poverty because of medical costs. In Sierra Leone, maternal mortality remains among the highest worldwide, while Sudan’s ongoing conflict has destroyed most of the country’s healthcare system.

    In this episode, our hosts share their experiences from under-resourced wards in Freetown to hospitals under fire in Darfur.
