Pastor Joe Hufstetler just connected deeply with the land and people of Israel. As Senior Pastor of Destination Church in Valrico, Florida, he has prayed for and supported Israel and the Jewish people for many years. That’s why he was eager to accept an invitation to be part of the Ambassador Summit 2025 in Israel as a guest of Friends of Zion and the Government of Israel. In this three-part interview, Joe shares what he learned in that intense week in the Promised Land, and what that experience has inspired him to do.

Messiah Meetings 2025 happened at Hebraic Family Fellowship Dallas-Fort Worth (HFF DFW) on December 11-12. The theme this year was the Gifts, Office, and Fruit of the Holy Spirit.

It’s one thing to read about history. It’s quite another to be there when history is made, as Beverly Hall and Cathy Helms know from experience. They were in Jerusalem when the Israel’s ceasefire with Hamas went into effect, when the living Israeli hostages were released from Gaza, and when President Donald Trump addressed the Knesset. Their three-week sojourn in Israel involved many divine appointments in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Tiberias, giving them keen insight into what God is doing to narrow the gap between Christians and Jews and establish Jerusalem as a praise in the earth!

Those who have not been to Israel may not realize how diverse it is. Even among Israel’s seven million Jewish citizens there is considerable diversity, as Bev and Cathy found out. It was their intent to immerse themselves in Israeli culture and get to know the people. That’s how they encountered Israelis from many different backgrounds, ethnicities, and religious (or non-religious) outlook. They had ample opportunity to witness and take part in Jewish-Christian interactions on several levels, leading to their conclusion that the breach between Jews and Christians is being narrowed.

What’s the outlook for the future of Israel and those who love Israel? There are always trials and rough spots, but Bev and Cathy affirm the promises of Israel’s God in this very good report from the Promised Land!
