What are the pros and cons to systems with centralized top-down controls (China) and more chaotic individual choice based systems (USA)? What role do we play in shaping these systems of control? How do we avoid a future dystopia where a single emperor-like figure, or small group of people, holds a microphone in one hand and has the other hand on the launch button? These questions and more are central to today's class.
