Dear An Invitation to Rest,
Welcome to R.E.S.T., a December journey of slowing down, breathing deep, and finding stillness in God. This month, while the world rushes, heaven whispers. Jesus’ words in Mark 6:31 remind us, Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest. It’s not just a verse; it’s an invitation from His heart.
Rest isn’t about stopping it’s about coming closer. It’s the moment you exhale the pressure and inhale His peace. When Jesus says, Come with me, He’s not asking you to perform or fix things. He’s asking you to simply be. To sit with Him. To breathe again.
So today, lay down the weight you’ve been carrying and respond to His whisper: Come away with Me. Rest is not found in what you stop doing, but in who you come to.
