Justin Schell is passionate about serving God’s church and her mission in the world. He is the director of executive projects for the Lausanne Movement as well as the US director for Union School of Theology (www.theolo.gy). He studied mission and biblical theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and business administration at EDHEC Business School. He is author of Come and See: A History and Theology of Mission as well as the forthcoming The Mission of God in the Short Studies in Biblical Theology series by Crossway Publishing. He is husband to Megan and daddy to Henry and Evie.     John spent seven years as a pastor in the USA and twenty years on seminary faculties in Africa. While a missionary, he served as Academic Dean at the Theological College of Central Africa in Zambia, and as Head of the Biblical Studies Department at Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology. Additionally, he has taught on the faculty of two American seminaries.

    Natalie completed her PhD at UST which was published as Complementarian Spirituality: Reformed Women and Union with Christ. She has also written Prone to Wander and The Good Portion – The Doctrine of Salvation for Every Women. Natalie is married to Tom who is the Ministry Director of the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches, and together they have three lovely daughters. Natalie is passionate about teaching theology to women, supporting her local church, and her ongoing writing ministry.

    In this episode of the Reformation Fellowship Podcast, we listen to part two of Justin Schell's conversation with Donald Fairbairn about knowing the Trinity relationally and not just intellectually; and how our real, intimate union with God matters for the Christian life.

    Dr. Fairbairn is the Robert E. Cooley Professor of Early Christianity at. Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and the Dean of the Newton House with Union. His research interests focus on the relation between the doctrines of the Trinity, Christ, salvation, and Christian life in the early church, especially in the 4th through 6th centuries. After graduating from seminary in 1989, Dr. Fairbairn ministered in Soviet Georgia for a year and then taught theology, New Testament, and apologetics at Donetsk Christian University in Ukraine from 1992-96. He also served as Assistant Academic Dean there. Since that time, he has continued to teach in Eastern and Western Europe through many short-term trips. Three of his English books have been published in Russian and two in Romanian. He has also written two books published only in Russian. Dr. Fairbairn and his wife Jennifer have two children, Trey (born in 2001) and Ella (born in 2003). His hobbies include golf, gardening, and playing with his dogs.

    In this episode of the Reformation Fellowship Podcast, Justin Schell has a conversation with Andy Harker and Alex Brito about the significance and fruitfulness of robust ministry partnerships in London and abroad.

    Alex Brito is a City Catalyst for The London Project and the church planter/pastor of Mosaic Multicultural Church in Elephant and Castle, London. He also serves the Diaspora Network Alliance as a steering committee member. Before getting involved in church planting, Alex started a company and studied business. He also studied Theology in a Baptist Seminary in Brazil. He is married to Aluanna, and together they have three girls. He loves meeting people, reading books, and barbecuing.

    Andy is the Director of 9:38 and the Acting Principal of the London Church Planting Academy. He grew up in London but spent seven years with his family in Kenya and was part of the launch team of a church plant outside Nairobi.
