On today's episode of Real Estate Darshan, we chat with David Ross.

David is an experienced lender in the real estate industry. He co-founded the lender Crossroads Realty Advisors and recently joined forces with established Midwestern commercial banking firms District Capital and Westwood Real Estate Capital, which now operates collectively as District Capital. David works strategically with his clients to help capitalize their debt and equity requirements. His broad experience in real estate finance, including placement of permanent, construction, bridge, and mezzanine debt as well as private and institutional equity, allows him to structure complex and creative solutions required to effectively capitalize real estate transactions.

During his career, David has participated in the successful placement of more than $3 billion in commercial real estate property financings and sales for many of the largest public and private real estate companies in the United States as well as local developers and investors.

He has been involved in commercial and multi-housing finance and sales since early 2005 when he joined HFF, L.P. In early 2010, Mr. Ross resigned from HFF to form Ross Realty Capital, LLC to provide real estate capital markets and consulting services and executed nearly $200 million in real estate debt and equity placement before co-founding Crossroads Realty Advisors in 2013.

Mr. Ross graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College with a B.A. in economics. He is active in the ULI and CCIM and maintains his Indiana real estate brokerage license. Welcome to the show, David!
