In a lifetime of church attendance, Rolland Wright says he has never once heard a pastor preach the passage he is about to walk through. The text is Isaiah 58.

The fast Adonai chooses is not about food. It is about untying the yoke of the oppressed. Sharing bread with the hungry. Bringing the homeless poor into your house.
