Last episode, we learned that Flora had stolen the 40 pounds. Blunt tried to lie to protect her, but it was not really needed. And Flora had not actually been able to confirm her father had been alive when Parker saw her. Thus messing up all everyone’s alibi. Time for Poirot to dig down farther.

    Previous version

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Welcome to Raven's Readings.

I’ll be doing a reading of the popular classic, A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens. I’ll be using the prompt copy, that Dickens edited for his own readings. It’s shorter, and with a few tweaks here and there, but it’s the same story. I first recorded this story two years ago, as my first podcast, with simpler hardware and no editing; hopefully, this is a better production.

In the previous episode, Mrs. Ackroyd told Poirot what her secret was. Interesting, but just another clue to be added to the mix. In the next chapter, we’ll hear a secret from Geoffrey Raymond, the late Mr Ackroyd’s secretary.
