Über diesen Titel
In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we slow down and consider what New Covenant faithfulness looks like when it moves beyond words and takes shape in real relationships, real decisions, and real allegiance. In the First Pour, Philippians 2:19–24 opens a window into the heart of Paul and the proven character of Timothy. Rather than law keeping or spiritual performance, we see transformed loyalty, sincere concern for others, and lives ordered around the interests of Jesus Christ. This passage reminds us that New Covenant maturity is revealed not through position or visibility, but through faithful service shaped by Christ Himself.
In the Second Pour, we pause to celebrate the people who make our school community meaningful. Spanning several days due to an unexpected interruption, we honor alumni, current students, and a devoted teacher, while also marking the 100th day of school. These ordinary milestones serve as quiet testimonies to God’s ongoing faithfulness in the steady work of teaching, learning, and growing together.
The Final Pour lifts our eyes from daily faithfulness to eternal authority. By connecting Daniel 7:13–14 with Jesus’ words in Matthew 26:63–65, we see how the promised Son of Man receives everlasting dominion through humility, suffering, and exaltation. The One judged by human courts is revealed as the reigning King whose kingdom cannot be shaken. Together, these passages call us to live with proven character under the present reign of Christ, faithfully aligned with a kingdom that will never pass away.
