This round’s lineup brings a wide spread of proof, price, and personality: 13 Colony Distilleries Cask Strength Southern Bourbon (Batch 2025), the classic and ever-present Old Forester 100 Proof, and Still Austin Bourbon. Same rules as always — taste blind, rank the pours, guess what’s in each glass, and see who actually knows their whiskey.

What follows is a chaotic mix of tasting notes (caramel, vanilla, baking spice, waxy mouthfeel), proof debates, price-point bias, and the realization that sometimes the cheapest bottle wins your heart… and sometimes the highest-proof bottle absolutely does not. Add in a crawling baby, contaminated palate water, and a rare moment where the hosts don’t agree — and things get interesting.

The episode also detours into aviation cringe, pilot announcements, classic country hot takes, and the growing idea of future Pour-Off matchups featuring past winners… or maybe the losers first.
