Consume a variety of foods from all the food groups to get a range of nutrients to energize you throughout the day. Opt for fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables, especially nutrient-dense dark, leafy greens, and broccoli, as well as orange vegetables, including carrots and sweet potatoes. There are many types of fish and legumes to choose from for healthy protein options. Aim to eat 3 ounces of whole-grain cereals, bread, rice, or pasta daily.


    2. Keep Company with Good and Positive PeopleYou can maximize your time to accompany good and positive-minded people. Connect with others who radiate positivity and are capable of energizing you. You should be selective in the company you keep.


    3. Get Regular exercise you feel lethargic halfway through the day? Take 150 minutes of weekly activities as exercise relieves stress and tension, strengthens muscles, and boosts endurance which helps your body to work more efficiently during other physical tasks or activities.


    4. Sleep 7 to 8 Hours at night getting more sleep gives you a healthy habit many people need to improve on. In our stressful life, sleeping in the only stress buster. You should sleep at least 7 to 8 hours a day and feel the relaxing mood to set yourself up for a successful, energized day.

We can easily overcome all types of negativity like mental agony, disorder, and dissatisfaction. In our fast life, people are running a race. Life is full of distractions and sorrows. We need some fun and happy moments to celebrate. Success is a vehicle that moves on a wheel named “Hard work” but the journey is impossible without the Fuel named “Self-confidence”. You can boost your happiness by focusing on positive things and reducing your negative thinking. My name is Poulomi and I am sharing my podcast episode “The two Most Effective Tips to become more positive in life.

    1. The Number 1 tip is to create a List of Happy ThoughtsTake 30 minutes and list all the happy thoughts you can think of. Just use a piece of paper and make a list. Spend 30 minutes and list the people and places that make you happy: good friends, favorite vacation spots, childhood memories, and more. List things that make you happy: puppies, babies, the smell of a new car, a candlelight dinner, a day of relaxing by a pool. List anything and everything you can think of that makes you happy. For instance, when my elder daughter was born, I was extremely happy and blessed. I realized that I became the happiest person in my life.

    2. The second tip is to replace Unhappiness with HappinessAfter you experience an unhappy thought or feeling, replace it immediately with a happy item from your Happy List. You might pick one item to use all day long, or choose different ones each time you need them. Just bring that happy thing to mind for a minute or two. Everyone has a lot of unhappy and negative thoughts throughout the day. To avoid these thoughts, bring a smile to your face as you bring your happy thought to your mind. This will help erase the effects of the negative thoughts. Ensure to remind yourself to do this task throughout the day. Don’t let a day go by without substituting your negative thoughts with positive ones. So, friends, this will give you more practice at being positive and happy. In this way, you will not only fill your life with happiness, but you will also make other people’s life cheerful.     Do you know every day how many people lose their life due to a lack of self-confidence and mindset? How many people commit suicide due to mental disorders? If you will read a newspaper regularly, you can see that suicidal cases have increased. My name is Poulomi Bhattacharya, and through this episode, I am sharing how suicide is not a solution even if you are going through a painful situation in your life. And rather how you can live your life happily following a worthwhile goal.

    Today morning, I woke up and saw my WhatsApp group, where a girl named Rumi, living in our colony died of suicide. She has a 7 years old daughter and was going through depression and mental disorder. Neighbors have seen her shouting and screaming due to pain even before her suicide. A few minutes before her death she suddenly closed the door. Her daughter knocked at the door and shouted, “Mummy, please open the door”. I am here; your Aditi is here, mummy”. Then someone pushed the door and saw her hanging body from the ceiling. This was a distressing moment for a little girl. I remember those golden days when we played together with Rumi. She was a very active and helpful girl. So friend, negativity, mental agony, and mental disorder are treatable. I am going to share three steps that you must follow when you find yourself in these situations:·

    • Positive mindset and confidence both are interlinked with each other. When we decide to do something in life, our subconscious mind plays a very important role. So it is important to connect our kids with positive people. The subconscious mind programming starts at a very early age. If kids will see that their parents are fighting all the time then they will have childhood depression. This grows into self-rejection, suicidal tendencies, and extreme mental agony. So, the first thing is to eradicate these problems from the root cause. If you are an adult, then start changing your environment. Get in touch with positive people in your surroundings, and your mental strength and self-confidence will increase tremendously. Growing up with positive people and engaging with them on a constant basis will give you a reason to live your life peacefully.·
    • A man becomes what he thinks all day long. To become a successful man, you need to think about your worthwhile goal all the time. This will distract you from all the negative situations in your life. If you want to become a singer, you must practice hard. While going outside or inside your home on your bed, this one thing should be more powerful than anything else. In this way, you will not only treat your issues of depression but you will also become a very focused and organized person.·
    • Action takers are achievers. People who take action and develop a daily routine always achieve their goals and get success quickly.·

The first mantra is that in order to become a powerful public speaker, you need to develop a very strong mindset. Also before starting anything, you need to focus on internal confidence and motivation. Always remember that 80% is the mindset and 20% is your hard-work. To develop a very positive mindset, you should practice a powerful mantra that I am going to share with you. Close your eyes and put your “public speaking goal” in the middle of your eyes. Now try to feel and make it stronger. Along both sides of your mind, you will start seeing some distractions. In your mind’s eye, put a cross mark on all distractions and put a tick mark on your goal. Do this practice on a daily basis and keep on making your goal stronger. After few days, you will start seeing that your goal is more illuminated than anything else. Now, you have a very strong mindset.· Start Practicing in front of Mirror.The second mantra is that to speak more confidently, you need to conquer your inner demon before anything else. This will happen with daily practice and affirmations. In the beginning, keep a book in front of you and start reading from that. You will see that just in a few days, not only your confidence but your tone and way of speaking will dramatically improve.· Calmness in your mind is Equal to Peace and TranquilityWhile speaking, no matter you are in front of the audience or mirror; try to maintain calmness in your mind to avoid nervousness and stammering. To be able to deliver quality speech, you should feel very relaxed and peaceful. Nervousness may appear at some point of time to hamper your peace of mind and confidence, but with practice you will overcome this challenge.· Preparation is ImportantThere are many people who lose confidence and have a fear of rejection when someone tells them to speak something on the stage. Most of the times, this fear is related to problems associated with either preparation or lack of content. To overcome this challenge, you need to prepare in advance by writing and practicing your script. A well-written and organized speech will be more impactful as compared to something which is without any preparation.I am sure that all these mantras will help you to speak confidently without any hesitation.

For example, if you want to become an entrepreneur, stand in front of a mirror and start saying, “I am a successful entrepreneur”, “I do not have any blockage”, “I am not afraid of failures”, and “I can overcome all challenges”. After doing this on a daily basis for a week, you will start showing positive signs of becoming an entrepreneur. Now try to find solutions to these problems. Sometimes, you will get ideas, sometimes you need to talk with your close friends to find the solutions.
