Though here for a short time

Forever on our minds

Feeding The Fire

Refusing to let the light burn out in this lifetime

Let the burning embers ignite action

With the wood & wind

The flame shall sustain

With continued maintenance

Building up

To burn bright

The warm

To comfort the chaos

A sign

To re-align with the design

Division from the collision

Enhancing decisions

Embracing emotions

Faced with the tears

And all the memories through the years

Memorializing to live on

Long after their gone

Brave through the brokenness

In preparation for the test

All along the quest

A testament to growth

Getting to be present

The blessings heaven sent

Mourning to motivate

To not cycle in the same place

Bettering the space in mind

Translating the decay
