    In this first episode of Poetreats, we invite you into a multisensory mindfulness experience where poetry and presence meet. Anna introduces the Poetreats ritual and guides listeners through a grounding meditation, followed by an evocative reading of “make me”—a powerful poem by Savinay Nangalia exploring identity, belonging, and the emotional weight of the immigrant experience.

    Through an intimate interview, Savinay reflects on coercion, consent, and the quiet resistance of art in the face of systemic exclusion. This episode is both a personal offering and a communal call to slow down, witness deeply, and connect through language.
