Their love is timeless- or at least their banter is- but this is one of the few scenes that the two actually share. Ella educates us about Marlowe's life as a gay man, spy, and atheist living in Elizabethan England. We discuss his legacy as a queer icon in drama, and apply it to his spectacular work, Doctor Faustus.
