 I’m convinced that Gerry is more hilarious than I give him credit for, just because of my lack of knowledge when it comes to movies. Whenever he makes a reference to a movie, I’m always the one saying, “Oh, I’ve never seen that.” *insert tiny violin* He grew up in a household where they watched movies all the time, bonding over storylines and things blowing up; and then there’s me, who’s seen one movie 47 times and calls it her favorite. So the premise of our podcast is this: each week, we’re taking turns watching all the movies we grew up with, or always wanted to watch. Starting with some classics that hold memories for each of us, we’ll delve deeper than just the plot and find the reason some movies are held so close to our hearts.
