I thought when I quit swimming and leaned fully into ministry, things would take off — spiritually, relationally, even on social media. But instead, God slowed me down. In this solo episode, I walk through what 1 Timothy 6 has taught me about contentment, comparison, pride, and control. I share how I wrestled with watching others grow in their spiritual gifts while I felt left behind — and how, right in the middle of that prayer, a worship leader shared a word from the stage: “Don’t birth an Ishmael when God has promised you an Isaac.” That moment reframed everything. I also talk about the burden I’ve been feeling lately for evangelism — and how that played out in a spontaneous conversation at Taco Bell. This episode is honest, Scripture-soaked, and for anyone who feels like obedience isn’t paying off yet. Maybe slow growth isn’t failure — maybe it’s formation. Kaleb spends most of his time using basketball as a tool to glorify God. He goes to local parks and gyms, not just to play, but to build genuine relationships with youth. In those everyday spaces, he partners with the Holy Spirit to bring light into places that are often overlooked. His life is a testimony to the power of prayer, consistent faithfulness, and surrender to the work of the Kingdom.I tried a different angle for today’s video, and it didn’t turn out the way I hoped.
